Attentio SA, one of Europe’s leading social media analytics and online listening companies (http://www.attentio.com), seeks to hire a data engineer. The company develops next generation online market intelligence tools. Attentio\‘s Brand Dashboard™ is used to monitor and analyze social media such as blogs, forums, Twitter and news, in order to provide real-time insights into consumer behaviour and attitudes.

Verwacht:
Unique skills and experience in the following areas

• Java
• PHP
• Relational databases/DBMS, (My)SQL
• Linux/UNIX, shell scripting
• XML

Experience in some of the following areas is a definite plus

• Text-based Information retrieval
• Search engine, crawler and wrapper development
• Data Quality Management
• ETL (Extract Transform Load)
• Online Analytical Processing
• Scalability, distributed systems, clusters, grid computing
• Web mining, data mining
• AI techniques/Machine learning
• API specification development
• Web services
• Project management
• Passion for online social media, blogging, social networks, etc
• Multilinguality (English, French, Spanish, etc.)

Soft skills:

• Highly motivated, communicative, pro-active, creative, ability to work independently, client focus, strong problem solving skills, team player, strong desire to learn
• Talenkennis : Engels (Goed)

Ervaring : Minimum 2 jaar ervaring vereist.
