Full-time HelpDesk Medewerker ICT

He/she will work in the service desk team solving user first and second level support problems, installing applications, dispatching calls to other teams and in the installations-replacements team where the task could include installations of applications, installations of equipment, replacement of equipment.

He/she will follow procedures and will e involved in improving these together with using the tools implemented to distribute software, remote control PCs and using the tools to install PCs and notebooks etc..

When necessary and where remote control is not possible he/she will perform interventions/installations in the different buildings of IRMM.

expected:
Personal skills:

  • Good communications skills and good knowledge in English, French and Dutch
  • Willing to work in a busy support team
  • Should have a professional attitude and be service oriented
  • Disciplined attitude in updating ticket information (the service desk relies on ITIL based tools)

Practical experience:

  • Very good knowledge of the standard tools for MS Office is absolutely a necessity
  • Good knowledge of Windows XP on desktop PCs and on portable PCs
  • In possession of relevant Microsoft certification or willingness to acquire it

Would be an advantage:

  • Experience in IT support of scientific users
  • Knowledge of Lotus-notes client installation and parameterisation
  • Knowledge of remote control and software distribution tools (LANDesk management suite)
  • Experience with low level data recovery techniques on hard disks
  • Knowledge of Peregrine service management tool
  • Experience with testing of tools and applications

Vereiste studies:
» Geen specifieke studievereisten
Werkervaring: minstens 5 jaar ervaring

Biedt:

Brutoloon van 2100? – 2200? + 145? netto kosten eigen aan de werkgever
