Truvo Corporate is looking for a freelance functional/technical analyst for a project of at least 6 months. We are working on a new local search site for 3 countries, building most of it in-house. This site is strongly focused on search but there are also several challenges in integration with backoffice systems.

Job description:

• Translate business requirements into functional specs and requirements
• Deliver quality specs (user stories) to the development team with minimal supervision (we develop in Java)
• Write acceptance tests and perform testing in the development environment
• Liaise with the dev team to clarify requirements and solutions
• Chase country representatives when needed to obtain information
• Log bugs and work with external parties to achieve quick resolutions

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
• Solid knowledge of enterprise software development processes (experience in Agile preferred)
• Strong technical background – good understanding large-scale search engines, XML and general web development languages and tools
• Excellent teamwork skills
• keywords: VersionOne, Jira, Java, Unix and Javascript (Ajax) applications
