Your responsibilities
As member of the project team your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Actual code and data migration;
• Development of custom solutions together with the client;
• Improving and fine tuning performance of the migrated applications;
• Execution of technical tests of the migrated application;
• Deployment of the migrated application;
• Facilitate acceptance tests of the migrated application;
• Provide input to the Technical Writer to describe the created solutions;
• Knowledge transfer to the development team in the new development environment;

In this role you work closely together with other implementation Engineers, Migration Architects, Tools Specialists, Technical Writers and the Project Manager.

Profile
You are a dynamic professional with a passion for IT and delivering high quality customer oriented
solutions. You have a couple of years of relevant experience in the field of IT, during which you were
exposed to a wide range of development technologies and platforms.

Required:

• You hold a degree in Computer Science (Master, Professional Bachelor);
• You are customer minded;
• Very good verbal and written English skills;
• You are eager to learn new things;
• You are willing to travel abroad;
• You are in possession of a driving license;
• Creative, analytical mind and a can-do attitude;
• You have relevant experience with multiple of the following technologies, tools and platforms: – PL/SQL, COBOL, Basic, Java, Perl, UNIX shell scripting;

– Visual Studio, Oracle Developer, MicroFocus NetExpress; – Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, ISAM; – Unix, Windows; – CVS/Subversion, make;

The following are considered to be an advantage:

• Dutch communication skills;
• French communication skills;
• Experience in cross-platform migration
